Chronophonic Apparatus

The Chronophonic Apparatus is a handbuilt audio/visual metronome. Unlike other metronomes that either give you just an audible beat or just a small blinking led to follow the Chronophonic Apparatus was designed to give you the option of both but with a much easier to see visual mode.

Check out the video below to see a quick demonstration.

Simplicity and functionality were the main ideas behind this build. There's only two control knobs. The left is the volume knob to control the level of the tick-tock sound. The right knob controls the beats per minute (bpm). For ease of access the battery holder is afixed to the back of the unit with velcro. So if you would prefer to use a 9v power plug the battery holder can be removed.

I am actually trying to get feedback on this device. Half the people say they love it the way it is, the other half say they would love to have some display that shows the BPM's.

So I want to hear what you think.

Seriously.

Post a comment. I want to know what you think, and if there is enough interest I will take all comments into consideration and go from there.

This one is up to all of you.
